Welcome to PMCollab

Your AI-powered product discovery and collaborative prioritization platform with 20+ integrated tools. Brainstorm, analyze, strategize, and decide — together.

What is PMCollab?

PMCollab is a premium, AI-powered product discovery and collaborative prioritization platform designed to support 100+ concurrent users. With 20+ integrated tools — from sticky-note ideation and structured Q&A to AI-powered strategy generation, autonomous product scouting, and specification writing — teams can brainstorm, group ideas, prioritize, and build actionable outputs all in one place.

Think of it as a digital war room where every voice is heard. Instead of long meetings where the loudest person wins, PMCollab gives every participant an equal canvas to contribute ideas, an equal number of votes, and a structured process to surface the priorities that matter most. The facilitator guides the session through phases while participants collaborate in real time from any device.

Whether you are running a strategic planning session, a design sprint, a retrospective, a product prioritization workshop, or an AI-assisted threat analysis — PMCollab provides the structure, the real-time collaboration, the AI intelligence, and the visual output to move from divergent ideas to converged decisions.

Getting Started

1Create a Workspace (Facilitator)

Sign in and click Create Workspace from your dashboard. Give your session a descriptive name like "Q1 Planning" or "Product Roadmap Sprint". You will receive a unique workspace link and admin code.

2Invite Participants

Share the participant link with your team. Participants enter their name and join instantly — no account required. You can support up to 100+ participants in a single session.

3Facilitate the Session

From the Admin Dashboard, guide participants through each phase. You control when the group moves from brainstorming to grouping, voting, and final prioritization. Participants see the current phase automatically.

4Join a Session (Participant)

Received a link from your facilitator? Click it, enter your name, and you are in. The workspace will display whatever phase the session is currently on — just follow along and contribute.

The Workflow

PMCollab guides your team through a structured progression of phases. The facilitator controls when the group advances to the next phase. Each phase builds on the output of the previous one.

1

Brainstorm

Rose-Thorn-Bud ideation. Participants add sticky notes categorized as positives (Rose), pain points (Thorn), or opportunities (Bud).

2

Group

The facilitator clusters related sticky notes into groups, forming coherent use cases or themes from the brainstorm output.

3

Vote

Dot voting. Each participant receives a fixed number of votes to distribute across the grouped use cases.

4

Bullseye

Place top-voted items on a bullseye target. Inner rings mean higher priority. Configurable ring labels and limits.

Features

Rose-Thorn-Bud Brainstorming

A proven ideation framework. Rose captures what is working well, Thorn identifies pain points and challenges, and Bud highlights opportunities and new ideas. Color-coded sticky notes make it easy to see the landscape at a glance.

Drag-and-Drop Grouping

After brainstorming, the facilitator drags related items into logical groups. This transforms raw ideas into structured use cases or themes that can be voted on.

Dot Voting

Democratic prioritization. Each participant gets a configurable number of votes to distribute across use cases. Real-time vote counts update instantly across all devices.

Bullseye Prioritization

A visual multi-ring target for final prioritization. Drag use cases into concentric rings — Critical, Important, Nice-to-Have — with configurable ring labels and per-ring item limits.

Use Case Details (BXT)

Deep-dive into each use case with structured fields: Problem, Idea, Business Objective, Key Results, Stakeholders, Value Proposition, and more. Supports concurrent editing by multiple participants.

Sailboat Retrospective

A visual metaphor for reflection. Map your goals (Island), strengths (Wind), blockers (Anchor), risks (Rocks), and resources (Boat). Thumbs-up voting surfaces the most resonant items.

AI Ideation Copilot

AI-assisted brainstorming with specialized agents: creative divergence, pattern detection, risk assessment, and consensus building. Agents analyze ideas, detect blind spots, and suggest derivatives.

Q&A Sessions

The facilitator posts questions, participants submit answers, and the group votes on the best responses. Configurable answer limits and thumbs-up caps keep things focused.

Capability Mapping

Define business capabilities needed for each use case: what the business must do, why it matters, inputs and outputs, pain points, stakeholders, and opportunities.

Product Identification

Define products and map them to capabilities. Build the connection between your strategic use cases and the tangible products that will deliver them.

Collaborative Whiteboards

Freeform drawing and diagramming with real-time collaboration. Use templates, BPM shapes, and collaborative editing to sketch ideas visually.

AGENTIC Framework

Structured scoping with categories: Actors, Goals, Events, Navigation, Tools, Intelligence, and Controls. Multiple canvases with thumbs-up voting for each item.

Strategy

AI-facilitated collaborative strategy development. Choose AI Strategy (with maturity assessment) or Generic mode. The AI generates strategic pillars the team votes on, comments on, and refines together.

Frontier Scout

Autonomous AI product strategist that discovers and validates product ideas. It researches emerging trends, competitor activities, and market signals, presenting structured insight cards for the team to review and vote on.

Idea Chat

AI-guided idea maturation through conversation. Participants engage in structured brainstorming sessions with an AI facilitator that helps develop, refine, and expand ideas through guided stages.

RAI Canvas

Responsible AI assessment covering identification, risk, fairness, transparency, human oversight, data governance, security, and compliance. Generates outputs for NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, EU AI Act, and more.

Interview Collection

AI-powered stakeholder interviews with one-on-one conversations. Generates summaries, identifies themes, and creates journey maps from interview data. Cross-interview analysis surfaces consensus and disagreements.

Roadmap

Collaborative roadmap planning with feature cards, priority levels, and target dates. Finalized features can be promoted to the Product Context timeline for all stakeholders.

Adversarial Review

Multi-agent threat modeling system with six AI agents that enumerate attack surfaces, generate threat scenarios, map kill chain paths, engineer detection requirements, and score risks. Exports in SARIF and CVSS formats.

Spec Manager

Structured specification management with 22 auto-scaffolded sections. AI assesses completeness, tracks maturity, and sections can be edited through Idea Chat in dedicated Spec Edit mode.

Upload Domain Knowledge

Enrich your workspace with documents, web research, and pasted text. Content is processed into signals and themes that AI tools draw on for grounded, evidence-based responses during sessions.

Code Factory

AI-powered code generation from use cases and specifications. Select a use case, choose a technology stack, and generate production-ready code with architecture, tests, and deployment configuration.

Enterprise Knowledge Gateways

Connect external knowledge sources — SharePoint, Confluence, or custom APIs — to enrich your workspace. Gateways pull in organizational context so AI tools can ground responses in your company's domain knowledge.

Product Context

Cross-workspace product lifecycle management. Track product releases, capabilities, limitations, and technology profiles. Link workspaces to product contexts for continuity across sessions.

Tips for Effective Sessions

For Facilitators

  • Set the stage. Use Background Info pages to provide context before the session starts. Participants with context contribute better ideas.
  • Give enough brainstorm time. Wait until the rate of new sticky notes slows before moving to grouping.
  • Group thoughtfully. Discuss clusters verbally as you drag items. Name groups clearly so voting is informed.
  • Configure votes wisely. A good rule of thumb is to give each participant about one-third as many votes as there are items.
  • Use the bullseye to force-rank. Ring limits prevent everything from being "critical" — use them.

For Participants

  • One idea per note. Keep sticky notes focused. You can always add more — there is no limit.
  • Use all three types. Do not just add Roses. Thorns and Buds are equally valuable for surfacing the full picture.
  • Spread your votes. Avoid putting all your votes on one item unless you feel very strongly. Distribution gives a better signal.
  • Read the background info. The facilitator may have provided context pages — check the info button before starting.
  • Stay engaged. The session is live and collaborative. Your contributions shape the outcome for the whole team.

The Collaborative Approach

PMCollab is built on a simple principle: the best decisions emerge when every stakeholder has a voice. Brainstorming surfaces the full landscape. Grouping creates structure. Voting reveals collective priorities. AI-powered tools like Strategy, Frontier Scout, and Idea Chat amplify your team's thinking. And frameworks like Bullseye Prioritization force the hard trade-offs that turn a wish list into a roadmap. Together, your team accomplishes what no individual could alone.
